In December 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Father And Son by Moshe Castel. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,907.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Moshe Castel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2007 the work Hallelujah was auctioned for USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
