Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work The Prophetess by Moshe Castel for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,331.15). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli & International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Castel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hallelujah in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Prophetess von Moshe Castel für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.331,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Castel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hallelujah im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 65.885,80).
