Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Scenes From Antiquity by Moshe Castel. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,263.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moshe Castel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hallelujah in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 65,885.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scenes From Antiquity von Moshe Castel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.263,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moshe Castel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hallelujah im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 65.885,80).
