This artwork by Morris Graves achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. In the The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online auction, the work Haunted Bouquets, 1977 sold for USD 31,562.50 (€ 27,886.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Morris Graves have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bird Singing in the Moonlight in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 141,900.00 (€ 118,299.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Morris Graves erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online wurde die Arbeit Haunted Bouquets, 1977 für USD 31.562,50 (€ 27.886,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Morris Graves auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bird Singing in the Moonlight im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 141.900,00 (€ 118.299,29).
