Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Jeune garçon by Moïse Kisling was worth GBP 107,950.00 (€ 122,813.98) to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).

Die Arbeit Jeune garçon von Moïse Kisling war einem Käufer im März diesen Jahres GBP 107.950,00 (€ 122.813,98) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
