Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Moïse Kisling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May this year. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Autoportrait sold for USD 16,380.00 (€ 15,374.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moïse Kisling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Autoportrait für USD 16.380,00 (€ 15.374,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
