Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part II, which included this untitled work by Mohamed Hamidi. The price achieved of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,900.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Mohamed Hamidi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work Composition, 1962 was auctioned for MAD 341,120.00 (€ 31,241.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part II durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohamed Hamidi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.900,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mohamed Hamidi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November diesen Jahres die Arbeit Composition, 1962 für MAD 341.120,00 (€ 31.241,19) versteigert.
