Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mohamed Hamidi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November this year. In the Moroccan & African Spirit auction, the work Composition, 1966 sold for MAD 334,560.00 (€ 30,640.40) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mohamed Hamidi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition, 1962 sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of MAD 341,120.00 (€ 31,241.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mohamed Hamidi erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit wurde die Arbeit Composition, 1966 für MAD 334.560,00 (€ 30.640,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mohamed Hamidi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition, 1962 im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von MAD 341.120,00 (€ 31.241,19).
