Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work "Un" Guardian Lion Dogs Evolved Form by Miwa Komatsu. It changed hands for a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 85,995.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Miwa Komatsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Un" Guardian Lion Dogs Evolved Form von Miwa Komatsu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 85.995,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
