Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Heaven - Guardian; & Earth - Guardian by Miwa Komatsu was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 60,480.00 (€ 7,313.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miwa Komatsu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Heaven - Guardian; & Earth - Guardian von Miwa Komatsu kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 60.480,00 (€ 7.313,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
