Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Embracing Between Heterogeneous Species(Painted In 2018) by Miwa Komatsu. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 36,279.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miwa Komatsu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Embracing Between Heterogeneous Species(Painted In 2018) von Miwa Komatsu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 36.279,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
