A top price for Mitsuhiro Ikeda - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 by Mitsuhiro Ikeda. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 is the most expensive artwork by Mitsuhiro Ikeda that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 von Mitsuhiro Ikeda zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mitsuhiro Ikeda, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
