This work without title by Mitsuhiro Ikeda was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,629.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Mitsuhiro Ikeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mitsuhiro Ikeda wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.629,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mitsuhiro Ikeda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
