This artwork by Mitsuhiro Ikeda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work Untitled 1, 2 sold for HKD 84,000.00 (€ 9,190.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mitsuhiro Ikeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mitsuhiro Ikeda erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit Untitled 1, 2 für HKD 84.000,00 (€ 9.190,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mitsuhiro Ikeda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
