Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Mitsuhiro Ikeda for HKD 17,500.00 (€ 1,970.53). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mitsuhiro Ikeda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mitsuhiro Ikeda für HKD 17.500,00 (€ 1.970,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mitsuhiro Ikeda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Place - Croatia No.1 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
