Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Mira Schendel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 225,000.00 (€ 212,705.62). Admittedly, works by Mira Schendel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,512,500.00 (€ 1,346,119.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mira Schendel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 225.000,00 (€ 212.705,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mira Schendel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, From The Series Droguinhas (Little Nothings) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.512.500,00 (€ 1.346.119,62).
