Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Ull de Perdiu by Miquel Barceló. The price achieved of USD 177,800.00 (€ 162,999.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miquel Barceló achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faena De Muleta in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 3,961,250.00 (€ 4,382,386.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ull de Perdiu von Miquel Barceló zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 177.800,00 (€ 162.999,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miquel Barceló erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faena De Muleta im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.961.250,00 (€ 4.382.386,82).
