A top price for Minor White - as previously expected
The work Photographs From 'Sequence 15' by Minor White was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 44,812.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Photographs From 'Sequence 15' is the most expensive artwork by Minor White that we have observed at auctions so far.
