Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mino Maccari achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2002. In the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction, the work Maschere sold for EUR 4,712.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mino Maccari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tre figure, which sold at auction in May 2001 for ITL 10,412,500.00 (€ 9,852.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mino Maccari erzielte im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA wurde die Arbeit Maschere für EUR 4.712,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mino Maccari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tre figure beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für ITL 10.412.500,00 (€ 9.852,16) versteigert wurde.
