Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Personaggi by Mino Maccari was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mino Maccari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tre figure, which sold at auction in May 2001 for ITL 10,412,500.00 (€ 9,852.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Personaggi von Mino Maccari wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mino Maccari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tre figure beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für ITL 10.412.500,00 (€ 9.852,16) versteigert wurde.
