Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il ratto d'Europa by Mimmo Germanà was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 4,340.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mimmo Germanà - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1986, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 14,026.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il ratto d'Europa von Mimmo Germanà kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.340,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Germanà mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1986 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 14.026,00 versteigert wurde.
