Die Arbeit Mirò non mangia, ma pensa von Mimmo Germanà kam im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mimmo Germanà auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition, 1986 im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.026,00.
