Auction result well in line with expectations
The work S.T. by Mimmo Germanà was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 4,340.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mimmo Germanà - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1986, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 14,026.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit S.T. von Mimmo Germanà kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.340,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Germanà mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1986 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 14.026,00 versteigert wurde.
