The work Audrey Hepburn and others during filming of the 1956 Paramount production War and Peace, Rome, 1955 by Milton Greene was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2017. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,269.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Milton Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nelly Nyad (1952) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.269,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milton Greene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nelly Nyad (1952) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
