The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,269.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Milton Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nelly Nyad (1952) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.269,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milton Greene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nelly Nyad (1952) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
