This artwork by Milton Greene achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2017. In the Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection auction, the work Audrey Hepburn and Henry Fonda on the set of the 1956 Paramount production War and Peace, Rome, 1955 sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,119.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Milton Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nelly Nyad (1952) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Milton Greene erzielte im September 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection wurde die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn and Henry Fonda on the set of the 1956 Paramount production War and Peace, Rome, 1955 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.119,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milton Greene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nelly Nyad (1952) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
