The price achieved of USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,013.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Millard Owen Sheets have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wild Horses of The Camargue in April last year with an auction result of USD 28,050.00 (€ 26,620.48).
