The work Merrymaking by Mikhail Zichy was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2017. The result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,757.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Zichy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 556,058.56).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Merrymaking von Mikhail Zichy wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.757,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Zichy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 556.058,56).
