Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Visitor by Mikhail Zichy was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,899.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Zichy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 556,058.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Visitor von Mikhail Zichy wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.899,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zichy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 556.058,56).
