Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Princess Anna Wittgenstein by Mikhail Zichy was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,318.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Zichy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 556,058.56).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Princess Anna Wittgenstein von Mikhail Zichy wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.318,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zichy erzielen.
