Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mikhail Zichy could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art auction, the work A horse rearing changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,545.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Zichy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 556,058.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mikhail Zichy konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit A horse rearing für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.545,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Zichy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An important montage marking the occasion of the Emperor Alexander II's Silver Wedding Jubilee im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 556.058,56).
