Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Christies in London held the auction First Open Online, which included the work Trophy Head by Mike Nelson. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,270.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Mike Nelson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work British amnesiac Beach Fire was auctioned for EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trophy Head von Mike Nelson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.270,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mike Nelson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit British amnesiac Beach Fire für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert.
