A top price for Mike Nelson
The work British amnesiac Beach Fire by Mike Nelson was sold in the Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in June 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,500.00. With this result, British amnesiac Beach Fire is even the most expensive work of art by Mike Nelson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit British amnesiac Beach Fire von Mike Nelson wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
