Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Matador Actor by Mick Rooney was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,803.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mick Rooney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Haberdasherland, which sold at auction in March 2005 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,243.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Matador Actor von Mick Rooney wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.803,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mick Rooney mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Haberdasherland beobachtet, die im März 2005 für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.243,03) versteigert wurde.
