Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michiel Ceulers could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Wie niet weg is, is gezien changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,487.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michiel Ceulers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
