Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michelle Stuart could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Puerto De La Luna History Book; Together With A Companion Book Breezy Point Papers changed hands for USD 62.00 (€ 51.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michelle Stuart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnetic Forces in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,988.66).
