Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Eye Feel Photography, which included the work Carla Bruni - Safe Sex Campaign - 1993 by Michel Comte. The price achieved of EUR 5,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Comte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carla Bruni, 1993 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Eye Feel Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carla Bruni - Safe Sex Campaign - 1993 von Michel Comte zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Comte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carla Bruni, 1993 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.453,24).
