Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Michaela Yearwood-Dan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Sentiments for D sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,231.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michaela Yearwood-Dan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love me nots in February this year with an auction result of GBP 730,800.00 (€ 833,575.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michaela Yearwood-Dan erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Sentiments for D für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.231,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michaela Yearwood-Dan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love me nots im Februar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 730.800,00 (€ 833.575,21).
