In the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction, the work Gulf Waters sold for AUD 7,050.00 (€ 4,164.80) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 3,000.00. This high result makes Gulf Waters the most expensive artwork by Michael Taylor that we have observed at auctions so far.
