Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sundown Near the Gilas 24 x 36 in. framed 33 x 45 in. by Michael Stack was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 4,352.00 (€ 3,989.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Stack - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Close to Evening in the Gila Valley, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 15,300.00 (€ 12,966.10).

Die Arbeit Sundown Near the Gilas 24 x 36 in. framed 33 x 45 in. von Michael Stack wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.352,00 (€ 3.989,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
