Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Evening in Summer by Michael Stack was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,233.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Michael Stack have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Close to Evening in the Gila Valley in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,300.00 (€ 12,966.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Evening in Summer von Michael Stack kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.233,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Stack auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Close to Evening in the Gila Valley im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 12.966,10).
