A top price for Michael Stack - as previously expected
The work Close to Evening in the Gila Valley by Michael Stack was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 12,966.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Close to Evening in the Gila Valley is the most expensive artwork by Michael Stack that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Close to Evening in the Gila Valley von Michael Stack wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert.
