Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dark Garden 4 by Michael Mazur was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 512.00 (€ 483.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Mazur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pond Edge IV in March last year with an auction result of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,407.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dark Garden 4 von Michael Mazur kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 512,00 (€ 483,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Mazur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pond Edge IV im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.407,55).
