In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Moving Off With Hounds by Michael Lyne for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,612.90). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram R. Firestone at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Lyne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The End Of The Day in June 2001 with an auction result of USD 24,675.00 (€ 29,118.48).
