In September 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram R. Firestone, which included the work The Pack Goes Out For The Lay-On: The Vale Of The White Horse Hunt At Eastleach by Michael Lyne. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,913.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Lyne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The End Of The Day in June 2001 with an auction result of USD 24,675.00 (€ 29,118.48).

Firestone durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Pack Goes Out For The Lay-On: The Vale Of The White Horse Hunt At Eastleach von Michael Lyne zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.913,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
