Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael DeLucia could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Community (Red And Blue Awnings) changed hands for GBP 438.00 (€ 497.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael DeLucia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cylinder (Gray) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,613.14).
