Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Michael DeLucia was auctioned at Phillips in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,546.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael DeLucia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cylinder (Gray), which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,613.14).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael DeLucia kam im Juli 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.546,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael DeLucia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cylinder (Gray) beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.613,14) versteigert wurde.
