Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2009 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work The Last Judgement In Cyberspace - The Side View by Miao Xiaochun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,557.10), 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Miao Xiaochun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,249.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Last Judgement In Cyberspace - The Side View von Miao Xiaochun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.557,10) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miao Xiaochun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.249,37).
