Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Don Giovanni is sick" by Meta Isæus-Berlin was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,744.14). Other works by Meta Isæus-Berlin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work "My Mobile Heart" at SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,024.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Don Giovanni is sick" von Meta Isæus-Berlin im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.744,14) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Meta Isæus-Berlin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2010 die Arbeit "My Mobile Heart" mit SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.024,39).
