The work Etude Pour Les Trois Glorieuses by Merry-Joseph Blondel was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2015. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Merry-Joseph Blondel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a lady, seated in a landscape, in a white dress holding a straw hat in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 96,000.00 (€ 70,278.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Etude Pour Les Trois Glorieuses von Merry-Joseph Blondel kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Merry-Joseph Blondel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, seated in a landscape, in a white dress holding a straw hat im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 96.000,00 (€ 70.278,18).
