Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.337,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Merry-Joseph Blondel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, seated in a landscape, in a white dress holding a straw hat im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 96.000,00 (€ 70.278,18).
